Session Chair

The voluntary position of session chair is an excellent way to get noticed, have input in the program, generate traffic to your session and have more time in front of the microphone.  Listed below are some quick notes about what is involved. The Session Co-chairs share responsibilities which are very minimal during the 2- hour presentation time.
  • Session co-chairs can opt to have input on structure and content of your session. .
  • Take an active role as a session leader.  We welcome your suggestions on relocating speakers,  speaker sequence, and on any formatting ideas.
  • Moderate your session. Session chairs are asked to ensure that the session runs on-time and within 20-minutes allocated for each speaker. Make sure and remind speakers of the time requirements and discourage any infomercials or sales marketing during technical presentations.
  • Introduce the session and fellow speakers.  Session Co-chairs introduce each other and share responsabilities introducing the 6 speakers. Speakers will provide with a short bio one-half hour before the start of each session. Speakers must bring their final PowerPoint slides as a back-up and if they have made changes to the ones emailed to EUEC for loading on the conference PC..
