WHAT: EUEC is pleased to offer four half-day Training Workshops on Sunday March 4, 2018, and two full-day Workshops, and a Tour on Wednesday March 7, 2018.

WHERE: All workshops will be held in the Meeting Rooms at the upper level of the San Diego Convention Center, next to Ballroom 6, and EUEC Registration.

WORKSHOP DETAIL

This seminar will provide participants with critical information on new developments in clean
air regulation, including recent developments in NAAQS, new source review, and NESHAP
applicability, The seminar will also address current EPA enforcement priorities, and newly
released guidance on EPA and state authority enforcement rules, planning and preparing
for an inspection, and using the permit process to minimize your enforcement exposure.

WORKSHOP DETAIL

This workshop will thoroughly review the latest developments, on
AERMOD as well as new refined modeling approaches such as: Urban dispersion for large
industrial areas, Consideration of moist plume thermodynamics (AERMOIST), Consideration of
infrequent high emission conditions in probabilistic modeling, Updates to NO2 modeling, low
wind speed approaches in modeling, ozone and PM 2,5, precursor emissions.

WORKSHOP DETAIL

This workshop will provide engineers working in the energy and
utility space with a better understanding of what waste heat recovery systems are in the
context of nuclear, fossil and renewable energies. The workshop will cover everything from
assessment, opportunities, development and challenges for waste to energy processes to
fluid properties and selection while diving into thermodynamic cycles and design of waste
heat recovery system components using both theoretical and real-life examples.
